From Independent to Franchise. Magnuson Hotels maintains consistent ethos.

Following the success of the independent hotel business platform introduced in 2003, Magnuson Hotel Franchising was introduced in 2022 with two brand segments (midscale and upper midscale) to deliver expert and effective franchise support for hotel owners with a fee structure that suits their needs. Fundamentally, the Magnuson Franchise brand concept brought forward the original vision set forth for independent hotels; providing hotel owners an opportunity to prosper with comprehensive support from a results driven hotel chain without incurring unnecessary expenses.
Magnuson Hotel Franchising was established to cultivate success for owners, their team members, and the communities they engage with. This is achieved by delivering performance driven services that prioritize fair treatment for hotel owners, respecting the choices they make to meet and exceed guest expectations.
Unlike traditional hotel franchise corporations that average 12.5% of gross room revenues and enforce mandatory suppliers and renovations, Magnuson’s approach considers the hotel owner’s perspective. It facilitates success through the provision of fees that work for hotel owners and marketing strategies that emphasize the distinct character of hotels, steering away from the standardized approach enforced by corporate entities.

Magnuson Hotels Fair Franchising initiative aims to contribute to the sustainability of communities by fostering increased localized value and enterprise.
